A fictional portrait of the Cuban leader, which has been strongly reviewed. 'Deliciously wicked...entertaining, edifying and voluminous...a masterful act of ventriloquism' "San Francisco Chronicle". 'Fuentes's fiction brings Castro magnificently alive, thus making what he presents as his casual brutality all the more repellent' Terry Eagleton "Guardian". Translated by Anna Kushner.
