  Heaven Official's Blessing 1: Tian Guan Ci Fu (Novel) 1

  Another fantastic work of MXTX next to Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation and Scum Villain´s Self-Saving System. If possible I almost loved it more than MDZS. Xie Lian and San Lang are amazing characters with both interesting and deep backstories and an intense chemistry right from the start. Reading it never gets boring and I loved every single page of this book (especially the ones with the amazing illustrations Seven Seas included in the Novels). Funny, suspenseful but also quite emotional at times this pageturner stays in your mind. (Little Warning: Some scenes are described very bloody and detailed)

  Die Prinzen

  Dieses Buch hat mich vom Anfang bis zum Ende in Atem gehalten. Ich konnte es kaum aus der Hand legen. Es ist super fesselnd und spannend und voller Intrigen, bei denen man irgendwann gar nicht mehr weiß, wo vorne und hinten ist. Überraschungen und Plot Twists bleiben also nicht aus. Auch die Beziehung zwischen Damen und Laurent ist etwas ganz besonderes und es ist wirklich schön, aber auch nervenaufreibend ihre Entwicklung zu verfolgen. An sich spricht das Buch allerdings auch sehr sensible Themen wie Sklaverei, Vergewaltigung und den Hang eines Charakters zur Pädophilie an. Man sollte sich darüber im Klaren sein, bevor man dieses Buch liest, sich davon jedoch nicht abhalten lassen, da die Autorin diese Themen keineswegs auf die leichte Schulter nimmt und nicht gut heißt.

  Oh lord was I looking forward to this one and I wasn´t disappointed in the least! Lady Jing is a hotheaded protagonist who often acts on a whim but she´s also smart, sassy and despite her knack for causing mafan very lovable. Now Tony Lee, banker, love interest and the sweetest gentleman. The world doesnt deserve him. Their adventures through both mortal and immortal shanghai were emotional, and suspenseful and I just had a whole lot of fun reading this book. Chinese mythology packed in a gripping fantasy novel with low stakes. Loved the characters, the dialogues....yeah. Loved it!

  Carry On

  Sure, apart from the characters being queer the story seems to have many parallels to J.K. Rowlings Universe. But its completely different in so many great aspects. Rowell created a beautiful magical universe with a very interesting concept of magic itself and how to use it. The characters can be a little annoying at times but you feel them while reading. Their stories get under your skin and involve you emotionally, which I really liked about this book. I´ll be a big Rowell Fan from now on and I cant wait to continue reading Baz and Simons Story in Wayward Son.

  Fantastic novel with a suspenseful plot, deep characters with interesting backstories, unexpected turns on every corner and an intense slow burn romance. Mo Dao Zu Shi has it all. This beautiful copy of SevenSeas includes amazing illustrations to bring our favorite characters to life. A must have for every fan of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu! If you´ve already read The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation go check out her other Novels The Scum Villains Self-Saving System and Heaven Officials Blessing, which are just as amazing!

  Fourth Wing – Flammengeküsst

  Ich muss sagen normalerweise schrecken so große Hypes wie Fourth Wing es gerade ist mich eher ab, aber aus unbekannten *hust* aufmachungsbedingten Gründen habe ich dieses Mal nachgegeben und wurde definitiv nicht entäuscht! (Es lohnt sich also wirklich das Buch auch ohne Farbschnitt zu kaufen ihr Lieben). Die Story an sich war jetzt nichts besonders neues und hat einige Clichés bedient, aber das auf eine sehr sehr gute und sehr amüsante Art! Ich mochte die Charactere super gerne und es hat einfach Spaß gemacht Violet und die anderen bei ihren Abenteuern auf ihren Drachen und im Basgiath War College zu begleiten. Grade der Plottwist am Ende hat mich sehr glücklich gemacht (keine Sorge, wir werden leben, so gemein ist er nicht) und lässt mich einfach mit Vorfreude auf den nächsten Band zurück. Ein Hype der sich mal gelohnt hat!

  Girl, Goddess, Queen

  A surprising highlight! The flood of Hades and Persephone retellings almost made me miss this new gem of a rom-com but now that I read it I am deeply in love! This is a slow almost enemies to friends to lovers story and especially Hades came with a new and very sweet personality. It´s kinda rare to not see him presented as a broody and dark guy (except for in Lore Olympus maybe) so this was really refreshing. This book had many laugh-out-loud and super sweet moments that I couldnt let go of, I had to reread them over and over. I also liked how we didnt only see Persephones or the female pov on patriarchy but also how Hades as a "powerful man" suffers in the role he´s been assigned to by society. Furthermore the underworld and how it was presented here was really interesting and it was just beautiful to see how Persephone and Hades changed it for the better together. I really, really enjoyed reading this one!

  Spell Bound

  Out of all the books Lukens has published so far this is my favourite! We find ourselves in a world with a very interesting concept of magic and strict rules that make clear who is and who isn´t allowed to perform it. Rook is someone who isn´t magic. Multiple people have confirmed this but he desperately tries to be a part of this world he´s grown up in and was banned from after his grandmothers death. Sun is someone who follows the rules. It´s safe. When they meet Rook who started to learn under the powerful magician Antonia, which is illegal, they find themselves in a conflict between their growing emotions for Rook and his smile and the law the consortium has set. Both Rook and Sun are amazing characters and this whole book is just filled with sassy dialogues, daring escapes, cute flirts and hilarious little accidents. It´s amazing! I had an absolute blast reading it!

  Cherry Magic! Thirty Years Of Virginity Can Make You A Wizard?! 1

  I came to read this after watching the show and I instantly fell in love with the story and the characters. I mean, how cool is it to get magic powers when you´re still a virgin at age 30??? This manga is really funny, touching and just a delightful read altogether. It´s one of my favourites so far and the perfect choice if you´re looking for something to warm your heart and make you smile. (And if you´d like to know what might be going on in your colleagues mind ;) )
