Meine letzte Rezension Delilah Green Doesn't Care von Ashley Herring Blake
Although miscommunication posed a bit of a challenge, I couldn't put this story down. I really enjoy stories where women find themselves and each other, blending romance with self-discovery and the found family trope. <3 Such an easy, enjoyable read that helped me break out of my reading slump!! || • single mom • sister’s best friend • home again • small town • kinda grumpy x sunshine • alexa, play “casual” by chappell roan

The Raven Boys (the Raven Cycle, Book 1)

The review refers to the whole series because I read it in one go and can't remember what happened in which part. For me, it is simply a great, bundled masterpiece. A tweet summed it up quite well: „I don't think I'II ever be able to replicate the absolute love and yearning that came with the complete and utter teenage recklessness I felt whilst reading the raven cycle“ aaaand yes, I do feel that. I can't really tell you what these books did to me. This world is so beautifully crafted that you never want to leave and the characters are so dear to me, that I can't stop emphasizing why everyone should read this! You don’t understand the meaning of the found family trope until the raven cycle. || • YA urban fantasy • strong friendships • murder mystery • atmospheric magic • small town

    Shatter Me

"My touch Is lethal. My touch is power." If you're looking for enemies-to-lovers with the 'I will burn the world down for her' type of love, superpowers and lots of plot twists, PLEASE binge read this series! I can't help but reread these books at the end of the year (atmospherically, it fits perfectly into late fall/winter). They will always hold a special place in my heart.

    Six of Crows

"No mourners. No funerals.” I'm continually impressed by how authors craft such intricate fantasy worlds. In this story, Kaz Brekker assembles a team to undertake the seemingly impossible task of rescuing a scientist from a high-security prison. Each of the six main characters is uniquely developed, with rich backstories that add depth to the narrative. God, this book truly has it all: gripping suspense, humor, thrilling action, a hint of romance, and an astonishing array of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. || • FOUND FAMILY • morally grey characters • epic heist • magic • multiple pov • right person wrong time • adventure

    If We Were Villains

Me, at the beginning of this book: "They're just college students devoted to shakespeare - how self-destructive could this really get?" This book: "Y E S." As someone who rarely reads crime fiction and actually has little knowledge of shakespeare, I can say that I've probably never turned pages so quickly. I don't know what M. L. Rio puts into this book, but it captivated me! From the gritty setting to the multi-layered characters and the hidden, well-positioned foreshadowing - it really has it all. || • dark academia • friends group of seven students/actors with a passion for shakespeare • murder mystery with theatrical structure • dark secret
