Initially, I had low expectations for this book and only picked it up on a friend's recommendation. As someone who doesn't typically enjoy young adult literature, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. While it's not the best book I've ever read, it was still enjoyable. The beginning was a bit confusing, and it took some time for me to grasp what the characters were searching for, but I found myself invested in the story nonetheless. One of the standout aspects of the book was the unique and well-developed personalities of each character. Each one had their own backstory and quirks that made them special in their own way. While the plot may not have been the most interesting I've come across, I appreciated that it took a different direction from what I usually read.
