touching and thoughtful story about a girl and her relationship with dead artists

Bewertung am 29.09.2020

Bewertungsnummer: 375870

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

It all begins with an assignment and ends with numerous letters to dead artists inside a notebook. Laurel has to write one of them for her english class but as she begins she can‘t stop. Almost every day she writes a letter. She writes about her past which she can‘t forget and her present which she can’t handle. She tells the artists about new friends, her first love, her parents and especially her sister who is also dead now. This debut from Ava Dellaira is not just a beautiful book for teenagers but a self-reflecting and thoughtful insight into the soul of a young girl that is fighting against problems not every teenager has. This book is written with such beautiful and true words that one self can feel Laurels pain and understand her thoughts. You wont forget this story easily.
