THE FIRST PSY/CHANGELING NOVEL from the New York Times bestselling author of Shards of Hope, Shield of Winter, and Heart of Obsidian... The book that Christine Feehan called "a must-read for all of my fans." In a world that denies emotions, where the ruling Psy punish any sign of desire, Sascha Duncan must conceal the feelings that brand her as flawed. To reveal them would be to sentence herself to the horror of "rehabilitation”—the complete psychic erasure of everything she ever was...Both human and animal, Lucas Hunter is a Changeling hungry for the very sensations the Psy disdain. After centuries of uneasy coexistence, these two races are now on the verge of war over the brutal murders of several Changeling women. Lucas is determined to find the Psy killer who butchered his packmate, and Sascha is his ticket into their closely guarded society. But he soon discovers that this ice-cold Psy is very capable of passion—and that the animal in him is fascinated by her. Caught between their conflicting worlds, Lucas and Sascha must remain bound to their identities—or sacrifice everything for a taste of darkest temptation...

Sascha shouldn’t feel any emotion as PSI, but when she meets Lucas she feels things she has never felt before. Unfortunately their relationship is under a no good star, because it unthinkable that there could be a real relationship between them. Who knows what the future will bring, but first they have to solve a murder mystery that threatens the peace between their races.
Ms. Singh dared the foray into a new genre, not all authors are successful when the take such a large step, but one can only congratulate Ms. Singh, because Slave to Sensation is a fantastic book.
The world in which Slave to Sensation is set is a really fascinating one. The PSI are a race where only the mind rules, because they don’t have any emotions at all, or at least they shouldn’t have, whereas the Changelings are very emotional and sensual beings. From the first meeting on, the sparks are flying between Lucas and Sascha, a fact that none of them can really believe, but they can’t ignore this fact because the sexual chemistry is undeniable.
Once you start with Slave to Sensation you won’t be able to stop reading, because you get sucked into the story.
This reviewer can highly recommend Slave to Sensation! Ms. Singh is a great new addition to the world of paranormal romance!
You really don’t want to miss this book. Keep also your eyes open for the sequel Visions of Heat.
