What I Know About Germans
"What I Know About Germans: 101 Observations" is a hilarious tribute to the quirks and character traits of a nation, lovingly compiled by Australian writer, Liv Hambrett.
What started as a list on her popular blog soon became a viral sensation on expat website überlin, grabbing the attention of Germany’s Bild, Stern magazine and Financial Times Deutschland, as well as many other sites and forums.
Millions of clicks later, the social media sensation has been brought to life as a book. "What I Know About Germans" features fabulous, original illustrations from Berlin-based artist Josh Bauman and over 100 tongue-in-cheek observations that will ring true with Germans and visitors alike.
Writer and lecturer Liv Hambrett was born in Sydney, Australia and obtained both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Writing in the very same city. She now lives in the north German city of Kiel with her very north German husband and their two half-German Kieler Sprotten.
