Only Time Will Tell

The Clifton Chronicles Book 1

(1)

The first in a five part multi-generational family saga and Jeffrey Archer's most ambitious work in four decades as an international bestselling author. Harry Clifton's epic tale begins in 1920, with the chilling words, 'I was told that my father was killed in the war'. But it will be another twenty years before Harry discovers how his father really died, but who was his father? ONLY TIME WILL TELL takes a cast of memorable characters from the ravages of the Great War to the outbreak of the Second World War, on a journey that readers won't want to end.

I stayed up all night to finished it, and I can hardly wait for the next "episode"!! It's a great storyline, gradually building up the characters and their different environments - you can more or less anticipate what's coming up next, but there is always a slight snag (typcial for Archer), making you want to read on and on and on.....
