Zitat
Praise for John Green: "Electric ... Filled with staccato bursts of humor and tragedy" Jodi Picoult "A novel of life and death and the people caught in between, 'The Fault in Our Stars' is John Green at his best. You laugh, you cry, and then you come back for more" Markus Zusak, author of The Book Thief "Damn near genius ... Simply devastating ... Fearless in the face of powerful, uncomplicated, unironized emotion" TIME "Funny ... Poignant ... Luminous" Entertainment Weekly

Indescribably brilliant. The first half of this book draws much influence from Salanger's "Catcher in the Rye",the second half is pure genius from Green himself.A future classic. Absolute Leseempfehlung! Die Geschichte ist gut durchdacht, witzig, traurig, sie berührt und regt zum Nachdenken an ... John Green lässt sich auch im Original ganz toll lesen! „Looking for words...“

Vanessa Pludra, Thalia-Buchhandlung Berlin

Yes I'm really looking for words to describe this wonderful book. Miles isn't very popular at his school but at least he's good at knowing peoples last words. After transfering to a private school in Alabama to find "the great perhaps" he finally meets some friends and with them the fascinating Alaska. At the end of the year a tragedy happens and Miles is left with the question: "What did I do wrong?".
You just have to love Greens characters because they are all so unique and fascinating! This book deals with every aspect of life: love, lust, pranks, happiness, sadness and death. It even attempts to answer the question what life is all about and I think after reading this novel you have a slight idea about it. I advise every teenager above 14 years to read this book; you will not regret it and and certainly learn something for life!

Alaska is like a celebrity for Pudge - beautiful to watch and unattainable. A story about friendship, love and not placing people you love on a pedestal.

Kann man lesen, "muss" man aber nicht

Ich habe den Roman für die Schule lesen müssen. Er lässt sich relativ schnell lesen, die Vokabeln werden in dieser Ausgabe gut erläutert.
