A brand-new, heartwrenching novel from the bestselling author ofIf I Stay, Gayle Forman

This characteristically powerful novel follows eighteen-year-old Cody Reynolds in the months following her best friend´s shocking suicide.

As Cody numbly searches for answers as to why Meg took her own life, she begins a journey of self-discovery which takes her to a terrifying precipice, and forces her to question not only her relationship with the Meg she thought she knew, but her own understanding of life, love, death and forgiveness.

When Cody is confronted with the shocking suicide of her former best friend Meg, she can't believe she hasn't noticed before how unhappy Meg must have been. She begins to investigate about her suicide, drives to Philadelphia to Meg's shared apartment and gets to know her former flatmates. And then she finds some emails and encryped files on Meg's laptop. She soon finds out Meg has confided her secrets to someone in a suicide support group and decides to find out, who that someone is. Did she really knew Meg that well? Why hadn't she talked to Cody rather than to a bare stranger? Bit by bit Cody begins sleepwalking into a situation she hasn't even dreamed about... Beautifully written and sad at the same time, that's how we know Gayle Forman from other books like 'If I stay' and 'Where she went'.
