Portrait

Claudia Gray is the pseudonym of New Orleans-based writer Amy Vincent, the author of the New York Times bestselling Evernight series. She has worked as a lawyer, a journalist, a disc jockey, and an extremely poor waitress. Her grandparents´ copy of Mysteries of the Unexplained is probably the genesis of her fascination with most things mysterious and/or inexplicable.

I have absolutely no idea. But I am glad I finally came around to reading it. After Marguerite has successfully found her father and brought him back home in "A Thousand Pieces of You" everything could be just fine. But it isn't. Some people have no scruples in achieving their goals and choose our heroine's boyfriend Paul to be their next victim: His soul is splintered and trapped in four different dimensions. In order to unlock the coordinates to those pieces and rescue him, Marguerite now has to do the enemy's dirty work... Intriguing, fast-paced and at times heart-breaking are some of the words I'd use to describe "Ten Thousand Skies Above You". This sequel is in no way inferior to its predecessor and leaves you wanting for more. I loved reading about all these different worlds and versions of the people I was introduced to in the first book of the series. Furthermore, it's interesting to see how meeting these alternate selves lets Marguerite learn more about herself and the people around her. I absolutely enjoyed reading "Ten Thousand Skies Above You" and recommend this series to everybody who enjoys exciting sci-fi-reads with a lot of heart.
