The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars Part One

The Legend of Korra Part One

(2)
Relishing their newfound feelings for each other, Korra and Asami leave the Spirit World . . . but find nothing in Republic City but political hijinks and human vs. spirit conflict!

A pompous developer plans to turn the new spirit portal into an amusement park, potentially severing an already tumultuous connection with the spirits. What's more, the triads have realigned and are in a brutal all-out brawl at the city's borders--where hundreds of evacuees have relocated!

In order to get through it all, Korra and Asami vow to look out for each other--but first, they've got to get better at being a team and a couple!

Written by series co-creator Michael Dante DiMartino and drawn by Irene Koh T.M.N.T., Sensation Comics featuring Wonder Woman, Secret Origins: Batgirl, Afrina and the Glass Coffin) and with consultation by Bryan Konietzko, this is the official continuation of The Legend of Korra!

Great continuation of the series, and explores Korras and Asamis relationship more deeply than it would have been possible in the show. Even though there is some action, you do notice that it is set up for a bigger story (the next parts of the comic). I personally don't have a problem with that at all, since it makes sense that you first have to introduce the new villain and his motives before a big show down can happen. The tv seasons did the exact same thing. Also the art is seriously beautiful.

It's here, it's here, it's FINALLY here!!!! And Korrasami is alive and breathing... I KNEW it!!! The Story: The Comic (which is the first in a trilogy) follows the Events of the TV-Show. Korra and Asami are in the Spirit-World and enjoy a much needed vacation. When they come back they... When they come back they discover that Republic City is in total chaos.... yet again. The Style: It's so pretty. No really, it is! I truly liked the line art and the coloring work. And the Spirit World looks awesome. Only negative thing: It's so short. I need more!
