Lolita

(1)
Humbert Humbert is a middle-aged, fastidious college professor. He also likes little girls. And none more so than Lolita, who he'll do anything to possess. Is he in love or insane? A silver-tongued poet or a pervert? A tortured soul or a monster? ...Or is he all of these?
Portrait
Vladimir Nabokov was born in 1899 in St Petersburg. „Doloris on the dotted line“

K. Boss

One of my favourite books of all time. It's a book I have to read again every few years. A deeply moving book, timeless in its controversy. It made me cry, laugh out loud or feel disgust, when I started to feel pity for Humbert Humbert. One of my favourite books of all time. It's a book I have to read again every few years.
