Rusty was silent for so long, Thomas started to wonder how he could take it back, but then a warm hand squeezed his arm. "I don't mind. It's been awhile for me too."
Thomas swallowed and looked up at him. This was crazy. He'd only met the man yesterday. But despite himself he leaned up and gave him a gentle kiss. Rusty carefully wrapped one arm around his waist and kissed him back. They kept their kisses gentle, feeling one another out, neither of them pushing. As the rain passed they parted, both of them breathing hard. Thomas licked his lips as he watched him. "Thank you."
"You're a very handsome man, Thomas. I noticed that first."
