This novel by a young Ukrainian author is a parable and a warning, a cruel but honest anti-utopia. The humanity has too long been a victim of its own self-deception as for its unconditional leadership and rule on Earth. But what if we, with all our scientific and technological achievements, with all our ideas about progress and space exploration are nothing but a source of fodder supplies for the future forthcoming Patriarchs? A source of fodder supplies, which for some reason has suddenly started to think it's something greater than it really is. Will all our achievements matter when the true masters come? Will the mankind be able to prove to everyone, and in the first place to itself, that it has become something different and something greater? Something greater or even someone greater?
