After saving The Mighty Superhero Security Squad from a fate of zombified slavery, you'd think they'd be a little grateful, and cut the outlaw superhero, Lady Midnight, a break.
Hannelore Brunswick, aka Lady Midnight, is not holding her breath waiting for that to happen. Mostly because she'd turn blue and pass out.
Not that she's holding a grudge or anything, she's too busy for that. What with fighting crime in The City of Upright, and battling bridal nerves over her upcoming wedding, she's got a lot going on.
Her already overbooked schedule is not eased when The Squad starts interfering in her superbattles. Then a supervillianous world leader and his henchwoman come to town for nothing more than a party – thrown by the leader of The Squad – and Lady Midnight realizes there's something seriously wrong going on.
Call her paranoid, everyone does, but it sounds more than a little suspicious to her.
However, once again there is a world to save, and everyone is Chasing Lady Midnight.
