  Die Tribute von Panem 2. Gefährliche Liebe

  Band zwei der Tribute von Panem Reihe steht Band eins in nichts nach und überholt diesen in manchen Aspekten vielleicht sogar noch ein wenig. Die Rückkehr in die Welt von Panem ist noch politischer, noch gemeiner, noch verzweifelter und erreicht eine noch größere Fallhöhe als Tödliche Spiele. Man lernt die Figuren und ihre Dynamiken, die politischen Machenschaften und die Spiele nochmal auf eine ganz andere Art kennen. Ebenfalls finden sich die neuen Figuren, die vorgestellt werden nahtlos in die Geschichte ein. Und auch, wenn man vielleicht versucht ist zu denken, dass es repetitiv werden könnte, Katniss und Peeta nochmals in den Spielen zu sehen, beweist Collins uns das Gegenteil. Eine durchweg gelungene Fortsetzung, die meiner persönlichen Meinung nach, der beste Teil der original Trilogie ist.

  Pride and Prejudice

  It is a truth universally acknowledged that english literature girlies list Pride and Prejudice as one of their favourite novels, but how could you not? It is a timeless classic. Austen's signature novel features fleshed out characters, drama, interesting dynamics, beautiful love stories, and all things good. Describing it cannot make it justice, it is a must-read!

  Dracula

  I went in without knowing a lot about the book and came out understanding why it is considered a classic. From todays viewpoint the book might not be considered a horror story because there is not much splatter but it beautifully creates a thrilling suspense that enchants you, fully drawing you in. Even though it is a fantastical tale that does not take place in the current times there is a realness to the characters that creates an enticing juxtaposition to the vampire of it all and allows for the horror to be a creeping, underlying threat. I absolutely enjoyed reading this classic of english literature!

  The Setting Sun

  It has been a few years since I've read "The Setting Sun". Do I remember anything that happened in this book? No. Do I remember reading it in only a few hours because it was one of the most well written books I have ever read? Absolutely yes!
