after the ending of the first book I was hooked. So many questions that were posed and answered in this book. New characters get introduced and Kel Kade explores a lot more concepts. particularly concerning class and gender dynamics. Rezkin as a sheltered character is a perfect way too show and criticise societal norms that apply even in our world. The second half really reminds me of the tournament arcs of old Dragon Ball. it ends in an amazing and exciting climax that again leaves you hungrier for more.
