Meine letzte Rezension Mate von Ali Hazelwood
The second romantasy book by Ali Hazelwood, and it was adorable! (I read it in three days!) I really liked Bride, and I have to say, I did miss the Vampire content in this one (I am partial, what can I say), but Serena was similarly snarky, witty, and absolutely in over her head. She continues to have an absolutely awful time in the continuation of the series, some of it caused by actual issues that need to be resolved, some of it caused by (to be honest) problems that felt a tiny bit contrived and that seemed to disappear into not much more than thin air at various points of the book. But I'm not actually complaining, this was an incredibly fun read, I was enganged in the mystery elements. SPOILERS AHEAD: I love a good 'medically necessary sex' trope and I was so happy that I called the nesting behaviour before it was confirmed! Ali Hazelwood really did the heat cycle justice, I would say. We get a few good, long days of mating, we get a bite in the end, we get a lot of knot action. I had such a blast!

    Project Hail Mary

This is one of the ones you should go into without spoilers, so I'll try to describe the general vibe: This book is about how being an educator is always also about saving the world, it's about friendship through the language of music, it's about weird space biology and how being wrong is great actually, because it lets you visit an unknown star as the first human ever. Please go into it as blind as you can, it is so worth it.
