This novel tells the story of three very different people chasing after their dreams. A young woman fighting for a stable job to support her parents, a passionate Hijab trying everything possible to become the next Bollywood-Star and a teacher at the very beginning of his political career. Majumdar addresses important issues concerning society and how some people are left with nothing but the idea of a dream and hope for justice. Even after finishing this book I am left with the feeling of an anger that’ll linger.
