  Könnten eine Hexe und ein Mensch je in einer Beziehung sein? Ein Koch und eine Adelige? Fin Ashowan ist ein Koch der königlichen Familie, jedoch weiß keiner, dass er eine Hexe ist. Er ist jedoch keine normale Hexe, sondern eine Haushexe. Aufgrund der Hexenverfolgungen und des ganzen Hasses will er trotzdem sein wahres Leben verbergen. Seine Kräfte sind auf sein Zuhause begrenzt und er kann dabei spüren, wer sich in seinem Zuhause in Gefahr befindet. Genau damit rettet er das Leben der Königin und das seiner Geliebten, der er seine Gefühle jedoch nicht offenbaren möchte. Dank seiner Kräfte sind seine Gerichte auch so gut, dass andere Königreiche ihn an sich reißen wollen. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Buch super geschrieben und absolut süß mit dem Cozy-Fantasy-Setting. Es gab Stellen, an denen ich wirklich lachen musste, und auch welche, an denen ich eine Packung Taschentücher gebraucht habe. Am Ende der Geschichte gibt es ein super Happy End, bei dem ich mir absolut sicher bin, dass ich das nächste Buch lesen muss.

  How to kill your family

  Das Cover verrät noch nicht viel vom Inhalt, was das Buch noch interessanter macht. Die Protagonistin, Grace, hat sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, ihre ganze Familie umzubringen. Die Morde sind immer sehr schlau durchdacht und für jede Person denkt sie sich immer wieder einen Weg aus. Die Geschichte wird langsam erzählt, aber durch den Anreiz und die Mordlust der Protagonistin will man einfach weiterlesen. Das Buch hat mich sehr positiv überrascht. Es ist lustig und gleichzeitig sehr spannend geschrieben. Ich war auf jeden weiteren Mord gespannt. Wirklich ein sehr gutes Buch.

  Hilarious! Entertaining! An amazing work of art! Just thinking about aliens wanting to take over our world is a thought that’s scary enough, but turning everything into a reality show? That’s a whole new idea that Carl and his cat weren’t ready for. Well, it's not particularly HIS cat but they can stand each other. In this story Carl and Princess Donut are thrown into a whole new world, which is supposed to look like ours, but those aliens kind of failed on that. There, they fight for their life and gain strange, funny and sometimes disgusting achievements. Just like in a game, they level up and try to get their stats a bit higher than the original numbers. As they progress further into the game or show, they gain followers and maybe from their game system some useful things. Will they pass the floors of the game, or will they die before they even reach the first few levels? Find out yourself! So, get that book and dive into the hilarious and wonderful story of Carl and his purrfect cat Princess Donut! I finished the book way too quickly than I would have liked to, but it was so worth taking the time to read it. I laughed, cried, and I was amused by the humor. I loved it so much! I already got the second book and I’m so excited to read it!

  Carl's Doomsday Scenario

  The best second book I’ve read! I have always had this problem that the second book of a series is often the worst one, but not in this case! Carl’s Doomsday Scenario is just as good as the first book. Princess Donut is as sassy as she’s always been. Carl's feet are still adored by the AI, and the fights never got worse, they got even better! Carl and Donut started to do quests, which mordekai was not happy about, but they also got more famous. Dangerously famous. I can proudly say that I consider myself a Dungeon Crawler Carl fan, and I'm so excited to read the third book.
