This mutual balance is known as "Ecological balance". Mankind in order to meet the growing requirements of population is unwisely using toxic substances and causing irreparable damage to the fragile ecosystem.In this study the effect of pollution on the ground water, pond water, and river water, sediments and soil of Baroda City and industrial area was undertaken.
