It took me over a month to finish this book. 39 days?! That's actually so sad. But I am blaming it on the book, tbh. It made me cringe so many times, and it seemed incredibly forced sometimes. The footnotes were very much unnecessary and an annoyance. Why making the * so small? Her self-reflecting comments about her unintentional ignorance made me really question the "unintentional". I liked the personal stories, and I am rooting for Jen and Brinley!! I'm giving it 3 because I can't rate something so personal lower than 3 stars.
