Oates, J: Babysitter

The plot unravels unsetteling,dark and complex about different aspects of the lifes we live, the privileges we have and whom to trust. This book is not just about serial killings! Politics, racism and predation are playing a much bigger role. I am conflicted about Oates writing, since it is hard to get into and confusing till the end. But Oates biggest strength is complex characters and bringing in details from the very beginning on that matter and fit in in the end. A fantastic OH-moment that might change your rating. Not an easy read for sure.
