Some say that a good president is determined by how they deal with the challenges that are thrown onto them by what is going on in other parts of the world. Roosevelt; this is, of course, to see what, if any, notable events in his past were influential in his leadership role as president.
Following his early life, we then move to his early political career, and the steps taken that led him to earn the title of president of the United States. Following his early political career, there are a select few chapters that are focused on the impressive, and quite long, presidential reign of FDR. To round out this book, we touch on the death and legacy of this great man and what he has left behind for so many to follow in his footsteps. Interspaced between each of these chapters are quotes once uttered by this president of the United States that have lasted over time and been influential for many individuals.
Essentially, through reading this book, you will encounter the life of a great man who, while being forced into different hardships, both personal and political, was able to earn the respect of his countrymen and women and guide them through some of the darkest years of the 20th century.
