This book really struck a chord with me! At first I was a bit sceptical, even a tad disappointed, by the very short chapters (that also included big illustrations). But that feeling changed rather quickly after a few pages. The very same thing that I disliked at first, turned out to be the reason why I can't recommend this book enough. Because of the short chapters and cute, matching illustrations it is very easy to digest and internalize. Which is exactly what most people need when they are feeling down. Even though she doesn't offer any new revelations on the topic, she managed to write an amazing compendium for tough days or as a quick reminder. Reading this feels like a good friend is talking to you, sharing her advice over a cup of tea. Warm, cozy and nourishing for the soul. I will definitely revisit this book from time to time to remind myself of things we tend to forget during day-to-day life.
