These books have truly stayed with me. The stories from that small café gave me hope and comfort at a time when I was dealing with grief after losing my beloved grandmother. The idea that you can sit in that special chair, (you have to wait until the „House Ghost“ leaves once a day) and get one last chance to say goodbye to a loved one is both heartbreaking and healing. Each story touched me in a different way, some tore me apart more than others, but every single one carried a message of love loss and moving forward. Book two, Tales From The Café, is my personal favorite, I cried through almost the entire book. I highly recommend this series to anyone who is navigating grief or simply wants to be reminded to not lose hope.
