Was für ein Buch! Das Detail, das Drama, die Themen, die Liebe, die Freundschaft... alles ist da. Jedes Kapitel hat mich so gefesselt, dass ich das Buch in NUR 2 Tagen gelesen habe. Es ist eine schöne leichte Lektüre, perfekt wenn man sein Englisch üben will. Sind Liebesgeschichten dein Ding? Dann empfehle ich Lily’s Café auf jeden Fall. Es enttäuscht nicht!

The language is simple so if you’re not fluent in English you should understand it. Even though the book is less than 100 pages long, the story is well thought out and I didn’t feel like it was missing something. The scenes between Chris and Emma were beautifully written and I noticed a bit of character development for Chris. I know it’s not important to the book but I really liked that the story took place in one of my favorite cities. Maybe I would’ve liked if it showed a bit more of it but it’s a personal preference. I would recommend this book if you’re in one of those moods when you want to read a short but cute love story.
