Yuki is a thirtyone year old activist fighting against the legalization of a life extending drug in the UK. Sam is her thirtyfour year old husband who - behind her back - decides to take the drug in order to achieve the goals he'd been putting off. Unable to cope with Sams betrayal, Yuki goes back to Japan to live with her father. As the years go by but time only makes itself noticeable on Yuki, we follow our protagonists throught their very different realities and are confronted again and again with the question; what is the point of living forever?
