Starside (Deluxe Limited Edition) A Novel

"Starside" is Alex Asters first adult fantasy novel and I have literally no words for how good this book was. I would actually consider it as one of the best romantasy books I have read since "Fourth Wing" and "ACOTAR". The author throws you right into the story so that you are hooked from the beginning of chapter one. The worldbuilding happens as the story goes along which makes this book super fast-paced. It is very action packed but also full of emotions. Aris was a really strong FMC and I fell in love with her from the very beginning. The plottwist at the end of this also completely managed to shock me which has not happened in a very long time. I need book two immediately and it will be torture to wait until November when the second book comes out. Honestly a 6 star read for me!

It’s been a long time since I read a book that entertained me this well. I literally inhaled it. Extremely fast paced and exciting and I loved the way Alex Aster described the world. I marveled with Aris at the beauty of Starside and held my breath whenever another danger came her way. Also the best Enemies to Lovers I've read in a long time. Hate.Me.Harder.

Wow. Alex Aster has outdone herself with this book. The idea with the swords is unique and perfectly executed, the worldbuilding is elaborate and Aster has masterfully woven little secrets into the story that have you reading through the night in hopes of figuring them out. And don't even get me started on that plot twist! I loved the characters, loved the magic system and really, really loved every page of that book. I cant wait for "Stormside" which will be coming to us in November 2026.

Wow wow wow. Harlan Raker is the guy for me!! Ich hab Starside richtig geliebt und wollte eigentlich nicht das es so schnell endet.. Die Welt in die man eintaucht ist nicht kompliziert aufgebaut und man findet sich schnell zurecht. Zwar hab ich zwischendrin nicht wirklich verstanden was der Zweck der ganzen Mission ist, da ich seehr abgelenkt war vom männlichen Protagonisten, weil wow, die Spannung zwischen den beiden und das Knistern in der Luft war kaum auszuhalten!! Ich bin zwischen dem Buch und Hörbuch hin und her gesprungen, und da kann ich auch jedem das Hörbuch auch ans herzlegen. Es wird im Duett gesprochen und ist umso besser! Eine große Empfehlung, ich freue mich sehr auf Band 2!!
