Recent Advances in Poultry Nutrition

Professor M.T Banday is currently Dean, FVSc & AH, Shuham, SKUAST-Kahmir. He is recipient of Fellow National from Animal Production Management Society of India. He received SK Ranjhan Award from Animal Nutrition Society of India for his doctoral Programme. He is presently working as Professor and Head Division of LPM and also holds the charge of Associate Director Extension (Animal Science). He has published about 250 research papers/abstracts/popular scientific articles, 3 books, 2 book chapters, 5 technical bulletins, one monograph, four practical manuals and edited learning material on Poultry Production for National Institute of open School, New Delhi. He is associated with a number of internal and external research projects. He is on the editorial board of two Poultry magazines. He has guided 5 students for Ph.D programme and 13 students for MVSc programme He has been a life member of a number of professional/scientific bodies. He is Vice President of ISAPM.

Sheikh Adil is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Livestock Production and Management, F.V.Sc. & A.H., SKUAST-Kashmir. He has a vast experience in teaching, research and extension activities. He got third rank in B.V.Sc. and first rank in M.V.Sc. His area of interest is poultry nutrition. He is recipient of various awards. He has guided a number of students at UG and Postgraduate level. He has published a number of research and technical papers in various national and impact factor international journals. Besides he has number of book chapters, manuals, monographs, pamphlets etc to his credit. He is an Editorial board member in various reputed national and international journals. He is a life member of number of professional/scientific bodies. He is associated with many internally & externally funded projects.

Manzoor A. Wani, is working as a lecturer in the Department of Livestock Production and Management, F.V.Sc. & A.H., SKUAST-Kashmir. He has graduated from SKUAST-K. He secured JRF for his Masters degree programme and Institute fellowship of ICAR-IVRI for his doctoral programme. He has published research papers in national and international reputed journals. He has been awarded with best PhD thesis, Young scientist award and a number of best presentation awards. He is a life member of number of professional/scientific bodies. He has been a part of various internally; externally funded projects.
