Ayurveda is an ancient Indian science dealing with the principles of health and disease. According to Ayurveda, the human body contains Asthi, Sandhi, Snayu, Peshi etc. which supports and help in movement and locomotion. Peshi, Asthi, Sandhi, Snayu, Kandara along with Jala, Kurcha, Mamsarajju, Sevani, Sanghata and Simanta can be mentioned in this aspect. There is specific numeration of almost all the structures are available in classics. However, in relation to modern anatomy it is difficult to interpret them logically.
