Clockwork Angel The Infernal Devices: Book 1

I enjoyed the trilogy and this was the first book I bought on my own, so I treasure it a lot. I want to mention that a movie series to another series which takes place in the same world (some beings do not exist, e. g. one of the main characters in the trilogy [actually they do exist with other powers, however, giving more details would spoil both series.]) on the platform Netflix (Shadowhunters: The mortal instruments [you should find it if you search for mortal instruments]). The story isn't confusing and I haven't found any inconsistencies. This series takes place in a time in which carriages are still in use, in the other the characters use smartphones (and Magnus Bane shows his charm better). Enjoy your time Benjamin

Ich bin absolut begeistert von den drei Büchern, habe mich total gefesselt und die Liebesbeziehungen sind auch nicht wie von Rosamunde Pilcher, sondern verworrener. Absolut zu empfehlen.

I can not explain how much I love this triology! This book will always be special for me, ( thanks to Will Herondale ) The action captures you and doesn't let you go.You will be thinking the hole time about it, till you finish and after.I adore this books, the characters make you feel attached.Once you started, you can't escape this world of shadowhunters.

this first book in the series manages to combine adventure, a hell lot of angst with humor. The cast of characters are all trying to deal with their feelings and emotions, everyone in their own way. Tessa is a fantastic main character as she does most of the emotional labour and is trying to find her place in this world that is completely new to her. Mrs Clare always finds the perfect balance between funny and angst and place with the emotions of the readers throughout the book and it is a feast to read it.

Da ich von der TMI Reihe so begeistert war, war es eigentlich ein Muss auch die TID Serie anzufangen. Um ehrlich zu sein, hat es tatsächlich etwas gedauert, bis man sich in die Charaktere hineinversetzen konnte, aber es war immer wieder amüsant zu sehen wie sich bspw. Will und Jace mehr oder weniger gleichen (der Sarkasmus liegt in der Familie Herondale) und im Endeffekt hat man dann doch mit den Charakteren mitgefiebert. In dem Sinne 4 von 5 Sternen.
