This is the story of 17-year-old Astrid Jones. Bred and born in open-minded New York City she moved to small town Unity Valley at the age of nine. It is in this ignorant and conservative town that she has to come to terms with her sexuality... "Ask the Passengers" is an honest portrayal of the perception of homosexuality not only in small town America, but sadly wide parts all around the globe. Can't you just love an amazing person without having to put a label on it which, more often than not, causes hate, disgust and fear? If you read this you might want to think twice before discriminating someone because of their sexuality, ethnicity, religion, BMI or anything else, really.
