Meine letzte RezensionGender Madnessvon Oli London
Gender affirming care is not something anyone is rushed into. It’s a long process, overseen by doctors and therapists who take great care to find the optimal solution for their patients to enrich and often save their lives. Surgeries on patients under 18 years are extremly rare and if they are performed, it is only because of extra ordinary circumstances. Most effects caused by hormones or puberty blockers are completly reversable and if they aren’t the patient is made very aware of it. Oli London is one of many who twists these facts to suit their own naritave, making gender affirming care out to be this great danger to todays youth, claiming to only want the best for children all over the world while, ironically, activily putting them at risk through disinformation.
Gender-dysphoria, transphobia and the depression that can come through both takes many lives of trans youth and adults every year. Gender affirming care and therapy can save those lives but it will be harder to access or even consider with the amount of fearmongering spread around these days. Anyone who has a friend or family member who is transgender and maybe even goes through gender affirming care knows how important it is, how long the process takes, how careful everyone in evolved handles the topic and how many hurdles are put in the way of finally living their best life.
