Aristotle on the Art of Poetry is a classic work of literary criticism written by the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle. In this book, Aristotle explores the nature of poetry and drama, analyzing the elements that make them successful and effective. He discusses the different types of poetry and drama, including tragedy, epic poetry, and comedy, and provides insights into the techniques and principles that writers should follow to create powerful and engaging works of literature. Aristotle also examines the role of the poet in society and the importance of art in human life. This book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of literary criticism and the art of writing.1913. An Amplified Version With Supplementary Illustrations for Students of English. The Principles of Its Construction; and Problems in Criticism.
