Blazed Trail Stories and Stories of the Wild Life is a collection of short stories written by Stewart Edward White. The book is divided into two parts, the first part containing stories about pioneers who blazed trails through the American West, and the second part containing stories about the wild animals that inhabit the region. The stories in the first part of the book are set in the late 1800s and early 1900s and follow the adventures of pioneers as they navigate the rugged terrain of the West. The characters in these stories are often faced with challenges such as harsh weather, dangerous wildlife, and hostile Native American tribes. Despite these obstacles, they persevere and succeed in carving out a new life for themselves in the untamed wilderness. The second part of the book focuses on the animals that inhabit the American West, including grizzly bears, wolves, and cougars. These stories are told from the perspective of the animals themselves, providing a unique insight into their behavior and motivations. The stories are both entertaining and educational, providing readers with a greater understanding of the natural world and the creatures that inhabit it.Overall, Blazed Trail Stories and Stories of the Wild Life is a captivating collection of tales that transport readers to a bygone era and immerse them in the rugged beauty of the American West.1904.
