The Stories Mother Nature Told Her Children is a collection of short stories written by Jane Andrews. The book is intended for children and is focused on teaching them important life lessons through the use of allegories and fables. The stories are told by Mother Nature herself, who imparts her wisdom to her children, the animals and plants that inhabit the earth. Each story has a different lesson to teach, such as the importance of hard work, the dangers of greed, and the value of kindness. The characters in the stories are anthropomorphized animals and plants, such as the industrious beaver, the greedy squirrel, and the wise oak tree. The book is written in a simple and engaging style that is easy for children to understand. The stories are accompanied by charming illustrations that bring the characters to life. Overall, The Stories Mother Nature Told Her Children is an entertaining and educational book that teaches children important values and life lessons in a fun and engaging way.How still it is! Nobody in the village street, the children all at school, and the very dogs sleeping lazily in the sunshine. Only a south wind blows lightly through the trees, lifting the great fans of the horse-chestnut, tossing the slight branches of the elm against the sky like single feathers of a great plume, and swinging out fragrance from the heavy-hanging linden-blossoms.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
