Two Festivals is a collection of poems written by Eliza Lee Follen. The book contains poems that celebrate two important holidays in the Christian calendar - Christmas and Easter. The poems are written in a simple and accessible style, making them suitable for children and adults alike. The book is divided into two sections, with the first section containing poems about Christmas and the second section containing poems about Easter. The poems in the Christmas section focus on the birth of Jesus, while the poems in the Easter section focus on the resurrection of Jesus. The book also includes illustrations that accompany each poem, adding to the festive and joyful atmosphere of the holidays. Two Festivals is a wonderful addition to any family's holiday traditions, and a great way to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and Easter. The Island of Longstone is at the head of the group, and serves as a sort of vanguard, and is, perhaps, the most dangerous of all. A gloomy collection of black rocks, full of crevices worn by the action of the winds, the waters, and the tempests, it does not nourish a single plant; not an atom of soil adheres to its surface; it is naked and barren; its steep sides bristle with cockle shells which encrust the rock. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
