Marse Henry: An Autobiography V2 is a book written by Henry Watterson, which is a memoir of his life. The book is the second volume of the autobiography and provides a detailed account of Watterson's experiences as a journalist, editor, and politician. The book covers his early life in Kentucky, his time as a journalist in Washington D.C. during the Civil War, and his eventual return to Kentucky where he became the editor of the Louisville Courier-Journal. Watterson's autobiography is a fascinating insight into the life of a prominent American journalist and political figure during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The book provides a unique perspective on the political and social issues of the time, including the Reconstruction Era, the rise of the Ku Klux Klan, and the Spanish-American War. Throughout the book, Watterson shares his personal experiences and opinions on these events, providing readers with an intimate look at the life of a man who was deeply involved in shaping the course of American history. The book is well-written and engaging, making it an enjoyable read for anyone interested in American history, journalism, or politics. In Two Volumes. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
