Military Memoirs of Field Marshal, The Duke of Wellington is a two-volume memoir written by Joseph Moyle Sherer in 1830. It chronicles the life and military career of Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, who was a British soldier and statesman. The first volume covers his early life and military campaigns in India, Portugal, and Spain during the Napoleonic Wars. It also includes his famous victory at the Battle of Waterloo. The book provides a detailed account of Wellington's military strategies, tactics, and leadership style. It is a valuable resource for anyone interested in military history or the life of one of Britain's most celebrated military commanders. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
