The Dark

Laszlo is afraif of the dark. It waits in every corner, behind the shower curtain and of course the basement. But he always visits the dark and hopes that in return the dark doesn't visit him: But one night the dark comes and Laszlo learns that there isn't really anything to be afraid of. "The Dark" is a beautiful picture book by Lemony Snicket. The story itself is written in a very unique way and the illustrations highlight that. Snicket describes the dark like a person and so the dark itself goes to Laszlo to show him that he doesn't have to be afraid. Wonderful picture book which is really worth reading!
