We see Nikki Maxwell's life through her diary with cute drawings and some really funny thoughts of hers. Nikki is a new student at a private school, because of her dad's work. Her family is a bit chaotic and her new friends funny but loyal. What more could a girl ask for? Maybe a cellphone? Or a puppy someday? Somehow everything turns out in a good way but until you are there it is long and bumpy road with lots of fun. At the end of the day what matters most are your friends and family (even when you have a clumsy littel sister like Brianna). I read Nikkis stories when I was younger and it was amazing! It kept me grounded and taught me that somehow everything turns out good at the and that the journey to your goal can be the best thing of reaching it. It is a easy to read with a lot of fun drawings. A perfect book for a young girl!
