The manga is much better than the anime

After I watched the Tokyo ghoul anime I was pretty disappointed and wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue with Tokyo ghoul :re. After some research I found out that the second season was basically anime-original. The anime only adapted half the manga and then did something different. After I found that out I started reading the manga and it is actually really good. The story is cool and easy to follow, the characters are fleshed out and the art, even though it’s a bit rough in the beginning, becomes stunning as the series goes on. The quality of these physical editions is also amazing, probably the highest quality manga I own that isn’t a special edition. So yeah, just read the manga, it’s really good
