Rezension

"5 stars!!! Read this book, guys!! Archer's Voice was one of the most heartwarming and uniquely beautiful stories I have ever read. Mia Sheridan's ability to convey strong emotions and vivid imagery through her writing is absolutely captivating. This was a gorgeous tale of survival and the healing power of love. I strongly encourage everyone to read it!! Without a doubt, it is now one of my top favorite books!"-Aestas Book Blog

"I opened my mouth and screamed and screamed and screamed, but the room remained silent."

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

Ever thought about running away from home, getting a small cottage by the lake and getting a waitress job at the lokal restaurant? (And most importantly meeting a hot, mysterios man that will eventually end up to be your soulmate?!) Archer and Bree is what I imagine to be a love full of respect, tenderness and quiet strenght. Archer's whole story was overwhelmingly emotional and brought me to tears so many times, even more with his character development at the end. Definetly worth reading.

What can I say except I read this book in one day?!

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

"Archer's Voice" had me hooked from page one to the very last sentence. I devoured it in a single Sunday, completely unaware of the emotional rollercoaster this story would take me on. Bree and Archer both come from complicated pasts, each carrying their own heavy burdens of trauma. When Bree flees to Pelion, Maine, all she desires is to escape the painful reminders of her past and find solace in a new environment. Mia Sheridan excels at crafting vivid descriptions that bring both the characters and the picturesque scenes to life. Her writing not only keeps the narrative engaging but also makes it difficult for readers to predict what will happen next. Just when I thought I could take a break from reading, I found myself unable to put the book down; it truly is a classic page-turner. Before Bree arrives, Archer lives a very isolated life that feels almost cottage-core in its simplicity. He has come to terms with the fact that many people in Pelion view him as an outsider or even a weirdo. This isolation adds depth to his character and makes his eventual connection with Bree all the more poignant. Meanwhile, Bree wakes up every day haunted by flashbacks of her most traumatic experiences, which adds layers to her character and highlights her struggle for healing. Although Archer may not seem like the most obvious friend for Bree in Pelion, their relationship develops into something special throughout the chapters. The bond they form is beautifully nuanced, and I couldn’t help but root for them despite all the complications they face along the way. Their shared experiences create a unique connection that sets their love story apart from others I've read. One of my favorite aspects of their relationship is how they communicate through sign language. This element not only makes their conversations feel intimate and private but also adds an extra layer of depth to their interactions. As I turned each page, I found myself emotionally invested in their journey. Mia Sheridan's writing is heart-wrenching yet captivating at every turn. It felt as if the author took all my feelings, blended them together, and served them back to me in a way that left me changed. I'm even inspired to refresh my basic sign language skills after reading about Bree and Archer’s unique way of communicating! If you're looking for a heartwarming romantic read that will leave you teary-eyed by the end, look no further than this gem. Hopefully, you'll be as emotionally affected as I was when you dive into this beautiful story!
