Love Letters and Ocean Waves
Oh, how much I cried over this book! We follow Rachel and Henry who are childhood best friends. But everything falls apart when Henry doesn´t reply to Rachels love letter. The actual story takes place a few years after the letter. I loved Rachel! I related to her thoughts and actions (even when she was not being constructive at all) and I understood why she did what she did. Henry was helplessly in love and a bit stupid as well but lovable as a character. My highlight was of course the Letter Library! The concept of it being the central part in everyones relationships was really fun. I enjoyed the book very much. It was given to me by a friend and I could not have asked for a better recommendation even if it wasn´t something I would have picked up on my own. I am really glad I got to read it. For everyone who is planning on reading it as well: keep tissues close by!
