Mit Defy my ist dieser Band mein Liebling!! Ich habe mehrere Bewertungen gesehen die sagen das es sehr langsam war, jedoch bin ich anderer Meinung. Es passieren so viele Dinge und vor allem hab ich die meisten nicht kommen sehen.

Emmaline is getting out of control. She risks lives for her own sake as she tries to take over Juliette’s body. Even Warner is willing to give himself up to protect Juliette as his father wants her. There is so much action but some chapters, most in Juliette’s there is calmness but also chaos at the same time. Warner, Kenji and Nazeera make their way to save Juliette while she is hidden in Oceania. It is so close to explode as the three arrive there. Scientists are freaking out, Juliette has to become the new 'source' for The Reestablishment as her sister is getting weaker. There’s action til the end and you really feel the end like it’s really over.

After Kenji arrives to Ella and Aaron, he helps Aaron to bring Ella, who is still screaming, to safety. They succeed, but now Ella is trapped in a deep sleep. On top of all this, they are attacked by Aaron's father, as Ella's scream has given away her whereabouts. They try to protect Ella as best they can and therefore hide her. But none of this helps. They have lost Ella. I found this volume relatively sluggish, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either and sometimes it just dragged on. If Kenji's point of view hadn't been there, it would have been a flop, but his chapters more or less saved it. I also thought the ending was great, which gave the whole thing big plus points.
