David Bowie All the Songs The Story Behind Every Track

I haven't read through the entire book yet but even by just glancing over some stories about a few songs, I already found statements that are just assumptions or simply wrong. Just one example: Clerc claims that the origins to "John, I'm only dancing" where "revealed [...] by Paul Trynka in his 2011 biography, Starman", referring to an incident of drummer John Cambridge being shocked when seeing David dancing with a man. But in reality Paul Trynka only states in his biography that some people "speculated" this incident inspired the song. Clerc however writes about it as if it was a proven fact. Some people might call this nit-picky but as a huge Bowie fan I just cannot be ok with someone selling something as a fact when it is not. Especially since there are more examples of assumptions like this one. The book doesn't seem well researched, nor do I feel like I am learning something when reading the sometimes very short and partially assumed "backstories" to the songs. And no, obviously I don't expect the author to know the meaning and story behind every song. What I have an issue with is how the author presents it. If it is speculation, simply say so... It does have some nice pictures but that's about it.
