Heaven Official's Blessing 1: Tian Guan Ci Fu (Novel) 1

It's the second novel series I started reading by Mxtx and it's great as usual. I have just finished the first volume and want to read the second one ASAP. The writing style is great as usual, it's funny, it makes you think, it catches you off guard, it makes you emotional. The way she describes the characters thoughts, looks, feelings or movements are wow. Her describing the scenary? I feel like I'm there. The illustrations are as beautiful as always, the book's design is absolute art. I need the other books. Immediately.

Ich habe Band 3 schon gelesen und warte darauf das das vierte Band bald zum abholen ankommt. Das einzige schlechte an dem Buch ist, das man nachdem man die Reihe vom Buch gelesen hat, kein anderes Buch mehr findet das man gut findet, weil die Story so surreal gut ist und ich nun ganz andere Maßstäbe habe.

Being a biiiig fan of MDZS I obviously had to read TGCF sooner or later and now it finally happens. And what can I say... The first few pages grabbed me by my collar and pulled me down yet another rabbit hole which I'm not sure I'll ever (want to) escape. Though the translations might not be too accurate at all times, I really enjoyed reading the first book of the series (I basically devoured it). The characters are really fun and interesting and I already have my favorites for which I'd risk my life (/hj). The storyline is easy to follow and makes one craving for more. Can't wait to read the second book and find out what will happen next..

Wie groß diese Geschichte eigentlich ist, erschließt sich einem, wenn man an die 244 Kapitel denkt. Diese umfassen wohl Jahrhunderte von Ereignissen und Mysterien, die alle zusammenkommen. So jedenfalls meine Recherche im Internet. Es empfiehlt sich daher, dieses Epos ruhig zu lesen und nicht nebenbei. Es könnte sonst leicht passieren, dass man den Überblick verliert. Die Geschichte ist sehr ausgereift. Man spürt die Zeit, die in dieses Werk geflossen ist. Es versteht sich daher schon fast von selbst, dass ich in den gleichnamigen Anime auf »Crunchyroll« hineingesehen habe, der genauso zauberhaft umgesetzt wurde, wie dieses Werk. Es ist einfach wunderbar, alles in bewegten Bildern zu genießen. Die Geschichte und Farbenpracht heben das Werk auf eine ganz andere Ebene. So schön die Geschichte auch sein mag, so brutal ist sie auch. Ich möchte dies ganz klar hervorheben. Schließlich gibt es Dämonen, Geister und Götter. Die Sterblichen sind da eher als Kollateralschaden zu sehen. Wenn von denen einer fehlt, das fällt überhaupt nicht auf. Nicht, dass ihr jetzt denkt, den Göttern sei das gleichgültig. Wenn das so wäre, dann hätte Xie Lian den Auftrag nicht erhalten. Zitatquelle: Animeszene.de
