On These Black Sands

OMG! When I read the description I thought, ohh this could be interesting. But I wasn’t quite convinced at the time until I came across the author of the book on Instragram and she kept posting quotes there. From then on I had to buy it. I recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy. Pirates, fairies, magic etc. The characters are so different and the combination is just extremely amusing. Also, the Enemies-To-Lover trope was another hit and I won’t spoil but this Enemy-To-Lover trope is different this time. There are also hot scenes, although minimal, but from what I gather it continues in volume 2. It has suspense and humour. In the middle it gets a bit bumpy because somehow the story wasn’t moving forward, but then the end!!! Wow! The book is in English and may still be a little difficult for beginners, but not necessarily an obstacle.
